We offer exciting opportunities for tech-forward government affairs consultants with some established client business. Accomplish more as part of a world-class team with the best resources you ever imagined supporting you.
We welcome substantive experts with proven skill in dealing with clients directly and representing them before Congress and the Executive Branch. We want to hear about successful campaigns demonstrating insight into legislative, regulatory, public-private partnership and program implementation environments.
We look for substantive experts with a passion for accomplishing results, both for their clients and for themselves. We hire the best people whenever we find them, not just to fill open positions. If this sounds like you, let us hear from you.
Send a cover letter and resume to email@example.com. Indicate the practice or practices you are interested in and discuss why you would be a good fit with the firm.
We offer spring, summer and fall internships in each of our practice areas. Interns support professionals with research and logistical activities and participate in group strategy sessions. We provide exposure to other practice areas and offer each “class” of interns opportunities to learn about the overall business environment. Many interns have returned to join the firm as professionals.
Carmen Group’s intern program introduces students to the day-to-day business of Washington’s leading business and government consulting firm and helps them build their collaboration and problem solving skills. Interns gain knowledge about how federal policy affects public and private entities, and about how organizations can productively engage the federal government.
Candidates must demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, the ability to assume responsibility, prioritize and organize their work, and the ability to think creatively. Candidates should possess excellent research skills, and should be interested in and familiar with the legislative process. Placement decisions are based upon the anticipated workload during a given period and on candidate qualifications.
To apply for an internship, email a resume and cover letter to firstname.lastname@example.org (no calls, please). Indicate the practice or practices you are interested in and discuss why you would be a good fit with the firm.
