    Congratulations to the City of Los Angeles and client Friends of the LA River (FOLAR) on the recommendation by the US Army Corps of Engineers in favor of the city's $1 billion plan to restore habitat, create wetlands and provide access points and bike trails along an eleven-mile stretch of the LA River. The project will enhance recreational opportunities,attract investment, create jobs and provide environmental justice for residents separated from downtown by a concrete flood control channel.
