On November 17, former Senator Bob Kerrey will moderate a Cyber Security Policy Round Table on Capitol Hill on behalf of client The New School. Funded by a grant through the Richard Lounsbery Foundation, the Round Table's purpose is to bring the government together with the academic and business communities (including client, Vir-Sec Inc.), to find mutually beneficial ways to improve cyber security.
By uniquely combining the thoughts from small and large businesses as well as academia in a small setting, The New School hopes to be an agent for change in the cyber debate. A comprehensive report of the Round Table’s findings will be disseminated to all Members of Congress and across the federal agencies, and will be publicly available on The New School’s website.
