Mario Civera is a Principal of Carmen Group Pennsylvania, LLC, and directs business development for the firm. He brings to the firm strong experience from a career in business and a lifetime of involvement in community, public and political organizations. Mr. Civera has extensive background in the renewable energy and real estate industries.

Prior to joining Carmen Group Pennsylvania, Mr. Civera was the Director of Business Development for Surety Abstract and Settlement Services.  In this position he was responsible for driving sales and providing new revenue for the corporate budget.  He was successful in improving the company’s brand recognition and introducing new client services.

Prior to joining Surety Abstract and Settlement Services in 2005, Mr. Civera developed and managed an account base of commercial real estate, construction, and logistics customers for ECBM Insurance.  Mr. Civera formulated asset protection plans for corporate clients, utilized his ability to create and cultivate new business partnerships, manage clients’ loss prevention and cost control needs, and gain the confidence and trust of his customers to generate more than $10M in annual premiums, consistently ranking him among the top sales producers in the company.

Mr. Civera serves on the Board of Directors for The Building Industry Association of Philadelphia, Greater Philadelphia Association of Realtors and the Greater Philadelphia Mortgage Bankers Association.  In 2008, Mr. Civera was recognized as the Affiliate Member of the Year for The Greater Philadelphia Association of Realtors.  Mr. Civera holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from St. Joseph’s University Haub School of Business in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
